Upgradation of Labour Room & Emergency OT to LaQshya Standards

This project involved the comprehensive strengthening and modernization of the Labour Room and Emergency Operation Theatre complex at District Hospital, Aluva, in alignment with the Central Government’s LaQshya standards. The scope included constructing a new labour wing, modifying existing structures, and building advanced medical infrastructure to support high-quality maternal and neonatal care. The facility was retrofitted and expanded to meet stringent cleanliness, safety, and clinical efficiency benchmarks.

• Construction of a dedicated labour wing with new interiors
• Modification and renovation of the existing hospital building
• Construction of a fully equipped Modular Operation Theatre
• Establishment of an Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
• Installation of a Medical Gas Pipeline System (MGPS)
• Setup of a dedicated MGPS Plant Room
• Implementation of an HVAC system to maintain sterile air quality in OT
